Terms & Conditions
Last updated: March 2026
By accessing our website or enrolling in any course or event offered by Verken IT & Analytics ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase or registration.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to purchase a course, register for a webinar, or use our services. By completing a purchase or registration, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
2. Course Enrolment
Upon successful payment, you will receive access details for the course you purchased. Access is granted to the individual who made the purchase and is non-transferable. You may not share your login credentials or course materials with any other person.
3. Course Access Duration
Self-Paced courses come with lifetime access, defined as access for as long as the Verken IT & Analytics learning platform remains in operation. In the unlikely event that we discontinue a course or the platform itself, we will provide at least 90 days' written notice to all enrolled students by email and offer a pro-rated refund where applicable.
Instructor-Led (Cohort) courses grant access to course materials for the duration of the cohort plus 12 months after the cohort ends.
4. Payments
All prices are listed in Ghanaian Cedis (GHC). Payments are processed securely via Payhip (self-paced courses) or Paystack (instructor-led cohorts, one-on-one training, corporate packages, and payment plans). The applicable payment processor will be indicated at the point of purchase.
For instructor-led, corporate, and one-on-one engagements, specific payment terms — including instalment schedules and any binding payment plan agreements — will be communicated to you in writing before payment is taken. By making a payment, you confirm your acceptance of those terms. Prices are subject to change; the price agreed at the time of your purchase is the price you will be charged.
5. Refund Policy
Self-Paced courses: We offer a 7-day refund from the date of purchase, provided you have completed fewer than 20% of the course lessons as tracked by our learning platform. To request a refund, email info@verkenitandanalytics.com within 7 days of purchase with your order reference. Refunds are processed within 30 days of approval.
Instructor-Led (Cohort) courses: Refunds are available up to 48 hours before the cohort start date. Once a cohort has commenced, no refunds will be issued. If you cannot attend, you may request a transfer to the next available cohort, subject to availability.
Webinars and live events: Paid events are non-refundable once the event has taken place. If you are unable to attend, a recording will be shared with all registered participants and attendees where applicable.
6. Cohort Cancellation or Postponement
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone an instructor-led cohort due to insufficient enrolments, instructor unavailability, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will notify all affected students by email with at least 7 days' notice where possible and will offer the choice of:
- A full refund, or
- A free transfer to the next available cohort.
We are not liable for any additional costs you may incur as a result of a cancellation or postponement, including but not limited to travel costs, time off work, mobile money or bank transfer charges, or any other third-party fees.
7. Intellectual Property
All course materials, videos, worksheets, templates, and resources are the intellectual property of Verken IT & Analytics. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use course materials for your own private learning. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, broadcast, or create derivative works from any course content without prior written permission from us.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree to use our website and course content solely for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:
- Share login credentials or course access with others who have not paid
- Record, screenshot, or distribute course videos or materials
- Use course content to create competing products or services
- Engage in any conduct that is unlawful, abusive, or disruptive to other students or staff
9. Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to any course or service, without refund, if you:
- Breach these Terms and Conditions
- Share course materials or credentials with unauthorised third parties
- Engage in abusive, fraudulent, or disruptive behaviour
Where a breach is capable of remedy, we will notify you and provide a reasonable opportunity to correct it before taking action.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our courses and content are provided "as is" for educational purposes. While we take care to ensure accuracy and quality, we make no warranties — express or implied — as to the completeness, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability of our content or platform. Course curricula may be updated from time to time to reflect industry changes; enrolled students will have access to updated materials at no additional cost.
11. Limitation of Liability
Verken IT & Analytics provides educational content in good faith. We do not guarantee specific outcomes (such as employment, promotion, or salary increases) as a result of completing our courses. To the fullest extent permitted by Ghanaian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific course or service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
12. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in delivering our services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to internet outages, power failures, natural disasters, illness, government actions, or platform provider outages. We will make reasonable efforts to resume normal service as soon as possible and will communicate with affected students promptly.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email (if you are on our mailing list) and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. We encourage resolution of any dispute through direct communication with us first. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
